Question #1: Why do customers choose embroidery over other logo-placement methods?

 

A: When our customers choose to invest in Oxford shirts, wind jackets, polo shirts or other apparel items that are made of high-quality materials, they often tell us that they are looking for a professional, classic look.  When they let us know they are looking for that professional image, we know that our embroidery styled logos would work well for the style they are looking for.  Embroidered logos ‘dress-up’ materials create a look that is a step above the more vibrant and even blatant look that screen printing provides.  In a classic, smooth way embroidered logos tell your clients and employees what your company stands for.

Question #2: How can I be sure that my embroidered logo will look the way that I want it to?

 

A: This is a common question and we always answer by telling our clients that we have the ability to make a sample stitch-out of their logo that we can send to them by post so that they can see exactly what their embroidered logo would look like.  Stitch-out samples are samples that are created so you can see your logo in embroidery before producing your order.  For example, to obtain a stitch-out logo, you simply send us your logo artwork and we digitize it, embroider it and send it to you for approval.  If you are really in a hurry, we can scan the ‘stitch-out’ sample and fax you a copy for quick approval.  Once our customers see their embroidered logos, they are usually assured that they are making the right decision.

Question #3: How do you charge for embroidery services?

 

A: Basically the process for invoicing embroidery services is simple.  We charge per stitch and per the amount of embroidery placements.   For instance, if you decided to have your company’s logo embroidered on the upper-left hand breast area of your apparel item, then you would be invoiced for one placement area and for as many stitches as were required to complete the logo.  An average logo digitization fee is $55.00 and is required for processing.  Digitization is just a technical term to describe the process involved to program the embroidery machine to stitch your logo to look like your art. Question #4: Can I embroider other items besides apparel?

 

A: The answer to this question is a resounding, YES! At American Promotions we embroider a large variety of promotional items.  The most popular selections include duffel bags, tote bags, hats and beanies.   To see a stitch-out sample of your logo, contact an American Promotions representative.

 

Question #5:  Why can’t I use the screen-printing process on my polo shirt?

 

A:  The answer to this question is that you can use the screen-printing process, but you probably wouldn’t like the end-result.  Polo shirts have pique material that is porous, which does not allow our screen printing technology to evenly distribute screen-printing colors, leaving a logo that may not look very much like the logo that you had envisioned.

Question #6:  What if I’m looking for a flashy logo that will really catch people’s attention?

 

A:  If your company really wants to make a splash in your sphere of influence, then we recommend using T-shirts or additional apparel items that have screen-print friendly materials.  For really innovative logo-work, American Promotions also provides customized art-work.
