Because I had a Realtor® gift me a short-lived, albeit memorable, promotional product (a ceramic house ornament), I am suggesting five other promotional items that I feel have longer market life and better logo placement: house dry erase boards, house cutting boards, house mint cards, drinkware and pens. This Part Four focuses on drinkware.
When I had worked for just a little while in the marketing industry, I found myself attracted to the novelty promotional items, like zippable coconut shells, and thinking the standard mug too…common. But during that time, as I packed my kitchen to move to a new place, I noticed how many logoed mugs I had in my cup cupboard. I didn’t throw them away until they were broken and I used them all the time. Their marketing life was long-lasting! In fact, I bet your own cupboard contains some promotional mugs.
Great Promotional Drinkware for Real Estate Professionals
Now, no matter the industry, I recommend drinkware as a promotional item with useful marketing life and visible logo placement.
My advice is always the same when it comes to drinkware, classic ceramic mugs are good, acrylic mugs are a step up, and silver tumblers are at the top of the list.
Classic ceramic mugs are the least expensive, come in lots of colors, and can be decal or foil printed, screen-printed or engraved. I prefer the feel and longevity of an engraved logo, but the other types of imprinting still do the job and cost less.
Acrylic mugs come in all colors, but my favorite kind is clear. The mug’s clear color means the focus is on the logo, not the color of the mug, so I think it has better logo visibility. Because acrylic is break resistant, its marketing life lasts longer than ceramic. One of my favorite acrylic mugs is a frosty freezer mug that, after 60 minutes in the freezer, keeps beverages cold without diluting them (unlike ice).
Silver tumblers look classy and unique. When I received a free silver tumbler for participating in a city planning meeting, I felt my service was really appreciated—and yet I know how little a tumbler costs. A silver tumbler is sleek, fits in a car’s cup holders, and the insulated ones keep liquids warm or cold. They don’t break, so their useful marketing life, and the number of times their imprint gets noticed, lasts and lasts.
Promotional drinkware has so many color and material options that fit all budgets that I think it is a great choice for Realtors® wanting to get noticed and remembered.
